Blueberry U-Pick

May will soon be here and we are busy getting ready for picking our organic blueberries! We will OPEN for u-pick on MAY 26 & 27, FRIDAY & SATURDAY, 7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. $6.00/pound. We will pick each Friday and Saturday until the berries are harvested and we look forward to seeing you again soon! We have a few new things going on here at the farm.
We have gotten chickens (again)! Ronny built a lovely chicken coop (palace) for them. We currently have about 25 six to eight week olds running around. The coop is located East of the garden shed and restroom building. It’s big, so you can’t miss it!
We are also moving ahead with our dream of operating the farm on 100% solar energy! Eight trees have been taken down to make room for the 56 solar panels which are due here any day now! We hope to be running on solar sometime in June! This will include the farmhouse, all farm buildings and the well….in other words -everything! You will see our solar panels on your left just east of the farmhouse as you drive to the parking lot.
We will have our blueberry fritters, blueberry ice cream and blueberry lemonade tea for sale this year, too. We hope you will make plans to visit the farm this year. Please remember to bring cash or check for your payment.
